Our waiting list is almost always longer than the kittens we have. By the time a kitten is ready to leave, she usually knows where she is going. This page is for the rare ones who do not.
As we said up top, this page is usually quiet. The next sections explain why, and what you can do about it.
Three things happen to most kittens in a litter.
They go to a family already on the waiting list whose preferences match. They go to a family who joined the list after the litter was announced. Or one stays with us as a future breeding cat.
A kitten ends up on this page when none of those happen. Usually it is because no one on the list right now is looking for her specific sex and colour, and her timing does not line up with the families further down. It happens once or twice a year, sometimes less.
Our contract allows a family to defer twice if their timing changes. When someone defers, the kitten goes to the next family who fits. Not the next position in line, but the next family whose preferences match. The full rules are in the purchase contract.
We do not announce dates until a queen is confirmed pregnant and the pairing is settled. By the time we do, most spots are already matched to families on the list. The waiting list is how you stay in line.
Equally weighted. Pick what matches where you are.
Price, what is included with every kitten, our contract terms. Most questions are answered there.
